With the completion of the value chain analysis and identification of potential intervention strategies for the island's agricultural value chains, the MSDI Project Team is now working with the facilitators and industry groups to test interventions through a set of pilot projects.
Conducting shared pilot projects with industry partners offers significant value and potential for overcoming key constraints identified in Hawaii's agricultural value chains. These collaborative efforts provide a real-world testing ground for innovative solutions, allowing industry partners to evaluate the effectiveness and feasibility of proposed interventions before scaling them up.
