Farmer feedback on equipment

Kubota has provided comprehensive lists of its agricultural products available in North America and Japan. These lists will be used to identify products that are not currently available in Hawaiʻi but have potential market demand.

HIAP will coordinate efforts to assess market interest in products currently sold in North America but not available in Hawaiʻi, as well as products sold only in Japan, but with sales potential in Hawaiʻi and elsewhere in the North American market.

Detailed feedback will be provided to Kubota based on the findings. If there is sufficient interest, Kubota will send selected equipment from their US mainland operations and Japan. Equipment from Japan will be sent to the Hilo Foreign Trade Zone, allowing demonstration without importation or modification for US standards.
